Small Businesses Rule!

Written for a client who owns one of top UPS Stores in the US. He asked me to write this to announce his recognition as one of the area's top small businesses.
A couple of weekends ago our store was highlighted and awarded the 25 Under 25 Award, fromThinking Bigger Business Media, Inc,recognizing us as one of the top 25 small businesses in Kansas City. This award brings entrepreneurship to the forefront and recognizes those individuals who have accomplished the American dream of owning their own business.

Web Content

Writing web content is fun, easy and fast. And I am Marie Antoinette and I love cake. Some examples of recent web work.

Some Direct Mail

Here's some direct mail from beyond the grave. Rather clever for a quick change oil place because we've all been upsold on stuff there. Especially those of us with breasts. Si?

The Return Of The Long Playing Album

Independence Audio/Video is an old school stereo store. So in between writing about stereos and home theater I wrote about albums. Remember them? They were around in the days of ancient Rome.

How many grooves does a record have?*
Depending on how old you are you may have made the audio journey from LPs to cassettes to CDs to MP3s and now you can tuck your entire music collection in your pocket. You haven’t seen a liner note in decades and likely can’t name the album titles you own. The days are gone when you’d lock yourself in your room until you learned every lyric on Born To Run or maybe even The Joshua Tree. Vinyl seems so long ago and so uncool.
